The Conrad Spa at Conrad Maldives started as a small 4 rooms with sand floors on one of the two adjoining islands. Due to development of the second island the spa increased in size to include the overwater spa. It was at this time that our managing director, Claire Way took over running of the two locations and significantly improved the turnover . Taking the revenue to over a million dollars in one year with a growth in annual turnover that was 9 times that seen in the previous year.
